Introducing Higgs, the flexible AI model that lets you train your Willow X robot for any task no coding required.
Running entirely locally on your Willow X, Higgs handles both training and execution on the robot itself, ensuring privacy and real-time performance without relying on the cloud. Using The Force and an intuitive interface, you can teach your robot by simply showing and recording the task.
Flexible / Multi-task
Higgs is a flexible AI model to train your robot any task yourself. It’s an end-to-end AI model at runtime, camera frames as input and motor controls as output.

Quick Learner
Higgs learns quickly from anything you show her.
There are three modes:
Pioneer.
Create a task from scratch and become a Founder. After 50–70 demonstrations, your Willow X nails it, and your name (or alias) is forever credited in the Task Store. As a Founder, you’re a robotics legend—your work inspires and enables users worldwide.
Enhance.
Discover tasks in the Task Store, trained by Pioneers and refined by others. Your X device downloads the know-how to get started.
In enhanced mode, you build on the Pioneer’s work by adding your own examples. After 5–10 demonstrations, you can achieve your first success.
Enhance lets X work quickly and effortlessly. Your improvements build on the Pioneer’s work and are shared with the community, helping the task evolve until it reaches 'User' mode.
User.
Quick and easy! Download a task in User Mode, and your X will immediately receive the know-how needed to perform it.
This allows you to start using the task right away. You can typically reach your first success after showing it to X just 1 to 3 times. It’s the fastest way to activate a new task—trained by pioneers and enhanced by the community.
Full X Control
Higgs controls every motor of your X. The shoulders, the elbow, the wrist, the grippers. But Higgs doesn’t only control the arms and the grippers, Higgs can also control the wheel motors for AI driven navigation.
Secure
Higgs runs locally on your Willow X. Not only the end-to-end AI runtime, also the training happens on your Willow. Your video data stays on your Willow, private, secure.
Even when you share trained know-how via the Tool Store. There is no video data shared, only the trained neural nets are shared, basically containing a few numbers.
Future Proof
We follow the cutting edge advancements in robotics AI closely, always on the edge. Higgs 1.0 is the beginning of a revolution. It’s designed to evolve to future promising technologies, such as VLA (vision-language-action models) or General perception models.

Sustainable AI
We designed our AI technology in a way that doesn’t require any water to cool down servers or AI systems. This was made possible by developing local, embedded AI training and combining it with a distributed peer-to-peer AI exchange system.
It’s sustainable not only from an environmental standpoint, but also from a customer perspective. Because the robot fleet communicates, shares, and learns together, there’s no cloud platform in between that can limit your robot’s progress. The intelligence stays in your hands. Power to the People!
